I am a modern Jedi Knight. I follow the Old Jedi Code, before Master Odan-Urr revised it, because I believe the newer adaptation of the Code speaks in absolutist terms. “There is no emotion, there is peace.” That’s a lie, in today’s society, in order to understand what peace is, proper judgment should be made, via understanding what it is you’re feeling. Emotion, yet peace. I see more grey than dark or light. I carry my lightsaber everywhere with me; even on VCU grounds. I’ve gotten some interesting looks. Some head nods. Some smiles, I’ve even heard people say it was cool. Know I will protect you! A Jedi’s duty is to serve.

It’s been a while since I’ve uploaded any pictures or anything of myself. So here goes— waiting eagerly to go to Red Robin with some friends, my mom gives me this Carnelian pendulum with a clear quartz attached. She knows that I’ve been wanting one for quite some time, but I never really knew how to use it. I understand that it pretty much revolves around the flow of your own energy, but what do I exactly do? What are the benefits and all of having one? It’s nifty though!

It’s 3:50 AM, Eastern Time. Here I am, sitting, alone, lost to my thoughts, not truly “bored,” that’s almost an insult to existence. Consider me melancholic, but not truly depressed. My Jade necklace, which I used to wear all the time, seemingly made it’s way back around my neck again. Without it, I felt out of sync. I couldn’t control my emotions too well and I was always bitter. Now that I wear it again, I can feel things better again. My dreams have been quite vivid again and I’ve not necessarily been happier; I’ve been much more content. My mother gave this to me while she stayed in the Philippines for a month, years back when her mom passed away. She said her mom’s brother gave it to my mom as a graduation present. Interestingly enough, it’s stayed in the family and is one of those things you just should believe in. I always have, I’ve always understood it, but I grew skeptical over the years. The metaphysics behind it all is incredibly surreal.. One should not doubt what these could grant. I just know, little by little, I’m getting my sanity back. XD

Off work. Tired. Beaten. Bruised. Burnt. Tomorrow is another day of school—I’m excited again. However, talking about living on one’s own with a friend makes me wish my parents trusted me more, allowing me to live on my own. Could you imagine a world where I lived in an apartment with Star Wars bath curtains, Jedi bathrobes, bed sheets, pillow cases, blankets and just lightsabers galore?? Granted, it probably wouldn’t be like that at all. It’d probably just be my room on steroids. Either way, I wish I lived on my own.

Jedi vs Sith. Always at war with the self; everyone is both good and evil. Never outweigh the other to an extreme. Keep yourself and your mind at a balance and never step too far into the shadow. Likewise, do not spend your life in the light. This is our struggle, this is our understanding.

In my absence, I’ve been training to become a Z-Fighter. I’ve been told I was the most powerful man this side of Chester, Virginia. Jedi Knight and Z-Fighter. But along with that, I was told that I looked like I was from Dragon Ball Evolution, which I’m not entirely too sure if that’s a compliment or the biggest and most genuinely clever diss in history. However, a fairly recent update on myself!

Today was a very relaxing day; I sat at home watching Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings majority of the day, while talking to this wonderful lady via oovoo. I had my fill of Mortal Kombat along with my fair share of American Spirits. It was really nice too because for some odd reason my family was off so for the first time in God knows how long, we had a family dinner. Today was a good day. Photo credit to my buddy Ziggy.
